Privacy policy

Short version: we don't ask you for anything, we don't have accounts, and we don't sell data. The one thing to know is that our advertising is served by a third party (Google) that uses cookies — details and opt-out below.

What we collect

Nothing directly. TriangleTaxMap has no login, no sign-up, no newsletter, and no forms that ask for personal information. The tax figures you look up are computed in your browser from data already built into the pages; we don't record what you search for.

Hosting

The site is served by Cloudflare Pages. Like virtually all web hosts, Cloudflare may automatically log basic request information (such as IP address and browser type) for security and to deliver the site. See Cloudflare's privacy policy for details.

Advertising

We support this free site with advertising provided by Google AdSense. To serve ads, Google and its partners may use cookies and similar technologies:

• Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this and other websites.
• Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the internet.
• You can opt out of personalized advertising by visitingGoogle Ads Settings, or opt out of a third-party vendor's use of cookies for personalized advertising ataboutads.info.

We keep advertising unobtrusive and block sensitive ad categories so the ads stay appropriate for a general audience. If you ever see an ad that seems out of place, tell us and we'll block it.

Analytics

We may use privacy-respecting, aggregate analytics to understand which pages are useful. Any such analytics measure traffic patterns only and are not used to identify individuals.

Children

This is a general-audience reference site and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
